How do same day dentures work?

If you receive dentures the day after the extraction, your dentist or dental technician will use a mold in advance to give you an impression of your teeth. This impression then creates a denture and is ready to be transplanted as soon as possible on the day of extraction. When the tooth is pulled out, a custom-made prosthesis is attached to the gums to protect and heal the gum tissue. While the prosthesis is in place, it fills the gaps that would otherwise remain.
